Welcome to Sophomore Year Class of 2020!

I hope you had a wonderful summer! I will continue to be your counselor this year and I'm looking forward to it as I have gotten to know many of you (if you are an AVID student, Ms. Stephens is your counselor). Please make sure you are always aware of your grades by logging in to your StudentVUE accounts. If you need any help with that, please come see me. I also want to encourage all parents to activate their ParentVUE accounts to remain informed of your child's progress. I have some very important information I will be sending home to all my Sophomores this year. I will be meeting with each Sophomore individually to update a 4 year plan they created last year, and I'll send a copy home. I wish you all a fantastic year, and do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do for you.

Mrs. Calvillo

Welcome to IHS Class of 2020!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Anna Calvillo and I joined the Falcon family in 2008. I will be your counselor the entire time you attend IHS (unless you are in AVID), so I look forward to getting to know each of you and your parents in the next four years.

I understand that high school is a vital time in your lives and there is a lot to do to prepare for your future. Therefore, as your school counselor, my goal is to help you succeed in your academic and career goals, as well as support your social and emotional growth throughout the school year. I will be doing this through individual and classroom guidance, student planning, and individual or system support. I believe that working closely with families, teachers, and the school community is invaluable to creating a caring, supportive environment for all students.

I hope you take the time to look through 'Freshman Year' page, as you will find a lot of useful information. Please feel free to contact me any time. You can submit an electronic request to see me, email me, or walk in during your lunch period or after school.

Warmest regards,
