A huge congratulations to the varsity swimmers who competed at the CIF Central Section Division 2 Meet this past Friday and Saturday. Overall, the girls placed 5th out of 59 teams and the boys placed 8th out of 59 teams. Savanna Hidalgo, Abby Basham, Lillian Brooks-Spear and Elizabeth Basham competed in the 200 yard medley relay placing 5th place as well as the 200 yard freestyle relay placing 6th place. Jackson Ayers, Cole Cousineau, Spencer Bell and Jack Coyle placed 3rd in the 200 yard medley relay and broke the current school record. Jackson Ayers, Gavin Bailey, Spencer Bell and Jack Coyle also placed 3rd in the 200 yard freestyle relay. For the top 8 finalists, Elizabeth Basham took 5th place in the 200 Free and 3rd place in the 500 Free, Lillian Brooks-Spear took 6th place in 100 yard butterfly and Savanna Hidalgo took 6th place in the 100 yard backstroke. Jackson Ayers took 7th place in the 200 yard Individual Medley, Spencer Bell placed 6th in the 100 yard butterfly and 6th in the 100 yard backstroke. Spencer also broke the school record for the 100 yard backstroke and 50 yard freestyle. Awesome job falcons!! We are so proud of you!!

The Varsity swim team had some huge wins at the League Championship Meet on Friday!!
For Girls: 200 Yard Medley Relay-2nd Place, 200 Yard Freestyle Relay-3rd Place, Elizabeth Basham-1st place in 200 free and 1st place 500 free, Lillian Brooks-Spear, 2nd place in the 200 Individual Medley and 2nd place 100 yard butterfly, Savanna-3rd place in the 100 yard backstroke, Abby Basham-2nd place in 100 yard breastroke. The girls team had an overall 2nd place finish at the meet.
For Boys: 200 yard medley Relay-2nd place (new school record of 1:34:82), 200 yard freestyle relay-2nd place, Gavin Bailey-2nd place in 200 yard freestyle, Jackson Ayers-1st place in the 200 yard individual medley and 2nd place in the admin500 freestyle, Spencer Bell-1st place in the 100 yard butterfly (new school record of 56.57) and 3rd place in the 100 yard backstroke, Cole Cousineau-3rd place in the 100 yard breastroke. The boys team placed 1st overall in the meet.
