Independent Studies Overview –

The Independent Study Program (ISP) is an alternative to regular classroom instruction where students do not attend daily classes but rather meet with an assigned teacher one-to-one at a weekly appointment.  The teacher will assign work based on the master agreement and grade the work at the next scheduled appointment.  The student will also take tests from Canvas weekly.  The amount of work students will need to do at home will vary from course to course; the key is that students must discipline themselves to complete all assignments before coming in for their next appointment.
