KHSD Statement:
The mission of the KHSD is to provide programs and services to allow all students to graduate from high school prepared to succeed in the workplace or at the postsecondary level.
IHS Vision:
The vision of the staff and administration at Independence High School includes providing a rigorous academic program that encourages learning as well as getting students involved on campus in some type of activity, whether it is athletics, clubs, student government or fine arts.
