·         FS football tonight @ I.H.S. – Game time is 5 pm – come out and support your Freshman football team. Remember your ASB sticker gets you into this game for FREE!

·         Tennis has a match today vs North – Varsity is at Home and JV is at North – matches start @ 3:30 pm

·         The ladies Golf team is playing at Kern River Golf course today @ noon.

·         There will be a meeting for all interested baseball players TODAY at the beginning of lunch in the Gym.

·         There will be an informational meeting in P-11, Tuesday September 3^rd, thee meeting will start @ noon. If you are planning on coming out this year please make sure to attend. If you have any questions seem Mr. Zetina in room P-11.

·         There will be a meeting for all boys basketball players on September 4^th during lunch in the gym. If you are going to play basketball this year you need to attend this meeting.

·         Anyone interested in joining the boys or girls wrestling team this season, there will be a meeting in room 1125 next Tuesday during lunch.  We will be discussing the upcoming season and fundraisers.  

·         Attention Seniors – we have extended the senior packet for ASB stickers, shirts, yearbooks and grad nite tickets to Tomorrow at lunch, that will be the FINAL time to purchase.  Get yours today and avid the crazy line. We will not sell them past lunch tomorrow so don’t wait.

·         The Final day to buy a Yearbook - ASB sticker packet is tomorrow at lunch – do not miss out on the great deal – see Ms. Liz in the activities office if you have questions.

·         Maroon Goon shirt order forms are due by Today at lunch! Get your personalized shirt NOW! See Ms. Liz in the Activities Office or Ms. Stout in Rm. 819 for more details.

·         Adventist Health is looking for student volunteers for their Winter/Spring Junior Volunteer Program. Students must be 15 years or older. Please go to our school website for more information and for the application. Go to "Counseling," "Counseling Homepage," and find "Community Service" on the right hand side.

·         Starting on September 2, homework help and subject specific tutoring will be held in the library on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:00. A tutoring bus will be available all three days at 4:15. Check out the pink flyers posted around campus for additional details.

·         Art Club is meeting in room 221 on Friday, August 30th during lunch. Bring your lunch. Get here as quick as you can we have lots to do.

·         The French Club will meet every Monday in room 813. Everyone is welcome! You don't need to be in a French class to be a part of the French Club.

·         If you are a Maroon Goon going to the Selma football game on Friday you MUST attend a short meeting at the start of lunch in Ms. Stout's rm. 819 TODAY.

·         Attention Star Wars fans! The Millennium Falcons club meetings will be held every Thursday during lunch in room 815. Everyone is welcome!! See you at lunch and May the Force Be With You!!

·         Astronomy Club Meeting today when the Sun is at its apex. AKA 12 noon. Hope to see you there. We will be electing club officers today!
