Sports…… |
· Congrats to our JV and Varsity Football teams for their wins over GV on Friday.
· Congratulations to the cross country teams for their outstanding performances at the Sierra Pacific Invitational on Friday. The girls took first place, led by freshman Elena Baltazar who broke the school record in the 5,000 meter race. All of the girls set 5k PRs on Friday. The boys finished third as a team in a very fast race in which Anthony Gonzalez broke the three mile school record equivalent in the 5K race. Over the whole day, the Falcons set 31 new PRs. Way to go runners!!!
· The Pink Out Game for Volleyball is tomorrow night – get your pink ready and come support your fellow Falcons.
· Boys soccer starts Today @ 4pm
· Girls Soccer starts Wednesday 10/16 @ 4pm
· Mandatory conditioning for girls basketball begins today. If you plan on playing this year you must attend conditioning. To participate you must be cleared by the athletics department. Conditioning will be Monday through Thursday 250pm-415pm. We will meet in P-11 each day before conditioning.

· This week is “Pink Out” week – We will wear pink everyday to bring awareness to Breast cancer, and show our support for survivors. There will be lunch time activities throughout the week.
· Pink out shirts are here and can be picked up from the activities office during lunch. If you still want to buy one, stop by the table in the quad during lunch. There is a limited number available.
· Any student who will be taking an AP test this year you only have a few more day to put in your deposit to avoid a late fee. See Mrs Moore in the finance office with questions.
· Grand Canyon University will be on campus Thursday October 24th during 4th period. If you would like to attend the presentation please come to the Career Center to sign-up.
· The Finance Office will be closed on October 17th, 18th, 21st and 25th. Please plan accordingly.

· National Honors Society will be meeting in the library at 12:05 on Tuesday, October 15th.
