Sports……
• JV and Varsity Boys soccer @ Arvin – JV begins @ 4:30 pm
• Congrats to our Varsity Boys Basketball team for their win over Porterville yesterday.
• Congrats to our FS girls Soccer team on their win over Foothill yesterday

Announcements…..
• Attention Seniors: Tomorrow is the last day to purchase your Grad night ticket for $125. If you are planning on going to gradnite, stop by the activities office and pick up your permission slip. There are only 40 tickets left. Tickets are currently $125, that price will increase after this Wednesday so get yours now.
• The Independence High School Theatre Department will be presenting "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" from December 5-7 at 7pm, with a matinee showing on December 7 at 2pm. Come out and watch this hilarious take on the traditional Christmas story. Tickets are $8 presale and $10 general admission.
• Make sure to bring in your canned food items to your 4th period class by Friday.
• There will be a 3D Pen lesson Wednesday @noon in the library.
• Are you interested in buying a cozy blanket for the cold winter? Energy Academy is now selling blankets! Preorder yours for $12 until the 22nd and turn in your receipt to room 906. Hurry before they run out!!
• There will be no after school tutoring on Wednesday, November 20th. Tutoring will resume on Thursday November 21st.
• Ford-Dream Builders (a student leadership program for high achieving Junior students) has started their application process. It begins with an Information Night on December 9th. Please see your counselor to RSVP for the event. Minimum GPA to apply is 3.8 and must be involved in extra-curricular activities.
• The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop is looking for volunteers. Please call 661-324-1359 for further information, or check "Community Service" on the Counseling Webpage.
