• Congrats to our All of our Boys Basketball teams for their wins over Foothill yesterday.
• Good luck to our Varsity Cross country runners as the compete at the Valley Championship today.
• FS Boys basketball tournament starts today in the I.H.S. gym.
• JV Boys Basketball has a tournament at Liberty High school this weekend – fist game is tonight @ 7:00 pm.
• Fs Girls basketball has a tournament starting tomorrow at West high.
• Come out and support your fellow falcons this weekend.
Announcements…..
• Attention Seniors: Today at lunch is the last time to purchase your Grad night ticket for $125. There are only 20 tickets left. Tickets are currently $125. No tickets will be sold after lunch today.
• Attention Seniors – if you have not picked up your Senior senior shirt please stop by the activities office at lunch
• The Independence High School Theatre Department will be presenting "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" from December 5-7 at 7pm, with a matinee showing on December 7 at 2pm. Come out and watch this hilarious take on the traditional Christmas story. Tickets are $8 presale and $10 general admission.
• Attention Students! Have you ever wanted to pie a teacher? Today at lunch in the quad you can pie either Mr. Bradley, Mr. Giese, Ms. Stout, Mr Burch or Mrs. Garrison for just $1. So get out to the quad today and let the pies fly.
• Make sure to bring in your canned food items to your 4th period class by tomorrow.
• Ford-Dream Builders (a student leadership program for high achieving Junior students) has started their application process. It begins with an Information Night on December 9th. Please see your counselor to RSVP for the event. Minimum GPA to apply is 3.8 and must be involved in extra-curricular activities.

• Ecology Club members, there is a mandatory meeting today at noon in room 907, if you can't make it at lunch stop by after school to see what you missed.
