Sports……
• Girls Basketball tournament today @ Shafter – Game time is 5:00 pm
• JV Girls Basketball tournament @ I.H.S.
• Varsity and FS Girls Soccer at Mira Monte Tournament today through Saturday.
• Varsity boys Soccer tournament at Mira Monte Friday and Saturday.
• FS and JV Boys Soccer tournament at I.H.S. Friday and Saturday
• Baseball practice will begin Monday, January 6th. Make sure sports packets are completed so that you are able to participate.
Announcements…..
• Formal tickets are on sale for $50 – you must have a signed dance contract and be debt free to purchase your ticket. Check with Mrs. Moore in the finance office to see if you have debt. Dance contracts are available in the Activities office.
• Holiday Karaoke Open Mic Today during lunch in the library. Come in and sing or perform. You can stick with the holiday theme or go with something different.
• Academy will be hosting a movie night, tonight in the PAC – join us and watch Home Alone and enjoy some hot chocolate and snacks – Free Entry to the movie – snacks and hot chocolate will be sold separately.
• Attention all Freshman – The Link Crew leaders will be hosting “Cocoa and Cram” a tutoring session for you on Monday after school until 4:30 – there will be free hot chocolate and snacks. There will be a bus @ 4:45 pm to take you home.
• Tuesday will be the last day of regular tutoring for first semester. There will be extra teachers on hand to help you prepare for your finals and a bus will be available to take you home. Take advantage of this last opportunity to get help before your final exams.
• Dime Wars ends today – get some money into the buckets that are in all of the classrooms so we get some amazing gifts for the kids spending Christmas at the Ronald McDonald House Hospital. Remember dimes are positive points for your 6th period classroom, but all other $$ is negative points and you can sabotage other classes all day.
