Sports……
• Soccer today vs BCHS – Boys at BCHS and Girls at Home – games are at 4:00, 5:15, and 6:30 pm
• Basketball vs BCHS – Boys at BCHS and Girls at Home – games are at 4:30 and 6:00 pm
• Congratulations to the Lady Falcon Cross Country Teams for placing two runners on the ALL-Area team! Freshman standout Elena Baltazar was named to the first team and Senior Hailee Julius received honorable mention. Way to go girls!
Announcements…..
• Formal tickets are on sale for $60 this week – price will increase to $65 next week – you must have a signed dance contract and be debt free to purchase your ticket. Check with Mrs. Moore in the finance office to see if you have debt. Dance contracts are available in the Activities office, before school, at lunch or after school.
• All Students who will be taking an AP test this year – all payments must be made by February 7th. No exceptions. Please see Mrs. Moore in the finance office for your balance.
• The next ASVAB Test will be given on, Friday January 17, in the Library at 7:15 a.m.
To study visit 4Tests.com or the ASVAB web site. See Mrs. Hoyt in the Career Center to sign up or if you have any questions. Remind slips will go out on Thursday.
• The next CSF drive will begin Tuesday, January 21st and end Friday, January 31st. You may pick up an application from the Counseling office beginning the 21st, or you can print the application from the IHS website. You must attach a copy of your report card or print an unofficial transcript from StudentVue and attach it to your application.
• Its senior BABY photo time! Do you want your baby photo in the yearbook? Are you a senior? Bring in your photo, grab a form in the activities office and pay $10 at the finance office ASAP. Space is limited!
Meetings…..
• Join us for Happiness Hangouts! A monthly after school meet up to grow and be happy. Come to the counseling office to pick up a flyer to RSVP ASAP. We will be meeting once a month starting Wednesday January 22 at 2:30 in classroom P-10.
• The NAMI Club, which stands for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a brand new club starting Today during lunch. See Mrs. Elrod in Portable 10 with any questions.
• Ecology Club will be meeting TODAY at Noon-O'clock in room 907
• Astronomy Club meeting today in room 901 at lunch.
