• Attention all Football players – a list of missing gear/uniforms is posted in room 714. Please stop by and see if your name is on that list.
Announcements…..
• Congratulations to the IHS Academic Decathlon team for their performance in the county championship! In the ten-event competition Izaiah Leyva took gold in the history event and Alicia Muralles won a silver medal in math! Way to go Falcons!
• Nominate your favorite STAFF member for 2020! Yearbook is taking nominations for STAFF Favorites right now! See the IHS website to nominate.
• SENIOR Baby Photo deadline extended! We have a few spots left for senior baby photos in the yearbook. Bring a photo and $10 to the finance office by Feb 6th. LAST CHANCE!
• Blood Drive Forms are now available for the February 5th blood drive – stop by the activities office before school, at lunch and after school to pick one up. This is First come first served and we have limited spaces, do not wait until the last day to turn in your permission slip.
• The IHS Animal Club is collecting all your unwanted t-shirts, sweatshirts and towels. We will be creating dog toys for shelter animals. Bring your donations to room 905.
• All AP tests must be paid off by this Friday the 7th. No exceptions. If you have any questions please see Mr. Newfield in the dean's office.

• Maroon Goon meeting at lunch today in Miss Stout's room 819. Bring your lunch and stop by to talk about school spirit and events.
• Drama Club will meet at lunch this Wednesday, February 5, in room 323.
Black History Month Fact of the Day:
Kobe Bryant was an American professional basketball player. A shooting guard, Bryant entered the National Basketball Association (NBA) directly from high school and played his entire 20-season professional career in the league with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant won five NBA championships, was an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, 12-time member of the All-Defensive Team, was named the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), and was a two-time NBA Finals MVP winner. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, he led the NBA in scoring during two seasons, ranks fourth on the league's all-time regular season scoring, and ranks fourth on the all-time postseason scoring list.
