• Congrats to our Girls and Boys basketball teams and our Girls Varsity Soccer teams for their wins over Ridgeview last night.
Announcements…..
• Feb 20th is the LAST day to order a yearbook. NO EXTRAS will be ordered.

• Nominate your favorite STAFF member for 2020! Yearbook is taking nominations for STAFF Favorites right now! See the IHS website to nominate.
• ASB is selling NFTN and Marque announcements – find an ASB member if you want a special message on the Marque or on NFTN. See Ms. Liz in the activities office for more Information.
• The IHS Animal Club is collecting all your unwanted t-shirts, sweatshirts and towels. We will be creating dog toys for shelter animals. Bring your donations to room 905.
• Next Thursday, February 13th, BSU will be hosting a Sadie Hawkins dance for I.H.S. students. The Dance will be from 7-9 pm, cost is $6 or $5 w/ASB sticker. There will be snacks and fun photo ops. Ladies this is your chance to do the asking, who will you be bringing to the dance? Come out and celebrate your Valentines Day with us.
• From February 11th through 13th, the French Honors Society will be selling Valentine's Day grams at lunch in the quad. They will be on sale for 2 dollars and delivered on Valentine's Day during 6th period. Make sure to know the 6th period class number and teacher of the person you will be sending one to.
Meetings…..
• BSU and Project BEST--we will take our picture for the yearbook on Tuesday, February 11th during lunch. Please meet in P-11 at 12:00.
• The NAMI Club will meet in P - 10 on Thursday, February 13th during lunch. New members welcomed. NAMI stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness.
• Mu Alpha Theta will meet in room 1007 TODAY during lunch. We will be discussing math field day
• Ecology Club members! There is a mandatory meeting TODAY at NOON, we will be passing out Tshirts, discussing fundraising, trips AND taking our Club Picture, grab your lunch and head over!
• The Guitar Club photo will be taken at our next club meeting on Wednesday, February 12th at lunch time in P - 10. Guitars can be dropped off at 7:15 am on the day of the meeting. New members are welcomed!
Black History Fact of the Day:
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s “I Have a Dream Speech” was improvised. Though he prepared a speech for the march, he pushed his notes aside and spoke from his heart. A moment of passion turned into one of the most famous speeches in the world.
