• Feb 20th is the LAST day to order a yearbook. NO EXTRAS will be ordered.

• Nominate your favorite STAFF member for 2020! Yearbook is taking nominations for STAFF Favorites right now! See the IHS website to nominate.
• Calling all lovebirds!! Do you need to give your special someone a floral arrangement for Valentine’s Day? Floral Club has you covered! We are selling $5 bud vases and $30 rose boxes, ready to pick up on Valentine’s Day. To order pick up a form from room 1202 or the activities office. Pay your money to the finance office and bring Mrs. Tune the receipt!
• Want to be in the yearbook with your boo? Yearbook will have a FREE photo booth set up on Valentines days in the quad. Stop by with your loved ones!
• This Thursday, February 13th, BSU will be hosting a Sadie Hawkins dance for I.H.S. students. The Dance will be from 7-9 pm, cost is $6 or $5 w/ASB sticker. There will be snacks and fun photo ops. Ladies this is your chance to do the asking, who will you be bringing to the dance? Come out and celebrate your Valentines Day with us.
• This Thursday is also food sale day during lunch. Make sure to bring your $$ and support your fellow falcons and their clubs.
• From February 11th through 13th, the French Honors Society will be selling Valentine's Day grams at lunch in the quad. They will be on sale for 2 dollars and delivered on Valentine's Day during 6th period. Make sure to know the 6th period class number and teacher of the person you will be sending one to.
• Reminder that Pennies for Patients collections will run through this Friday – keep brining in those pennies to your 3rd period classes.
Meetings…..
• BSU and Project BEST--we will take our picture for the yearbook Today during lunch. Please meet in P-11 at 12:00.
• There will be an Airband meeting tomorrow in p-2 during lunch – you must attend this meeting if you are interested in performing in the Airband event.
• The NAMI Club will meet in P - 10 on Thursday, February 13th during lunch. New members welcomed. NAMI stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness.
• The Guitar Club photo will be taken at our next club meeting on Wednesday, February 12th at lunch time in P - 10. Guitars can be dropped off at 7:15 am on the day of the meeting. New members are welcomed!

Black History Fact of the Day:
Thurgood Marshall was the first African American ever appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court. He was appointed by President Lyndon B. Johnson and served on the court from 1967 to 1991.
