• Congrats to our Varsity Boys Basketball team on their win in the 2nd round of playoffs last night – Their next game will be on Tuesday vs. Centennial @ 7pm – Join us to cheer them on, on their Road to Valley.
• JV softball tournament today @ Polo park. First game is @ 4:45 pm
• FS Softball @ Stockdale tournament today.
• Way to go Falcon Athletes.
Announcements…..
• If you are planning to take an honors or AP class for the 2020-21 school year, applications are now available in the counseling office. You may also print an application online under the Counseling Page. Go to the Counseling drop down menu, go to forms/applications. All applications are due February 26.
• Applications for Airband are available in the Activities office. All Airband Applications are due on Tuesday February 26th - so pick yours up today.
• The finance will be closed on Thursday and Friday, February 27th and 28th. Please plan accordingly.
Meetings…..
• The NAMI Club will meet today during lunch. We will discuss club t-shirts and our poster party. New members welcomed.
• Hey Art club members, there is a meeting today in room 221 during lunch. Come sign up for our community service activity and make art.
This week is FFA Week, a week to celebrate agriculture and the FFA organization. Our chapter will be hosting daily events in the quad during lunch as well as having dress up days!
TODAY: One lucky teacher or staff member will kiss a pig in the quad. and the dress up day is wear National Blue or Corn Gold!

Black History Fact of the Day::Former President Barack Obama is the recipient of two Grammy awards. He received both Grammy’s for Best Spoken Word. His first Grammy was won in 2005 for his audio version of Dreams of My Father and his second in 2007 for Audacity of Hope.
