Sports……
• Varsity Boys Basketball game tonight vs. Centennial @ 7pm – doors open at 5:30. Free Giveaways at the door while supplies last. Price is $7 for adults and $5 for students with ID. Join us to cheer them on, on their Road to Valley.
• Baseball today vs Highland – JV/Varsity @ Home and FS @ Highland. Game time is 3:30.
• Track Scrimmage tomorrow @ I.H.S. – Meet starts @ 3:30 pm
Announcements…..
• If you are planning to take an honors or AP class for the 2020-21 school year, applications are now available in the counseling office. You may also print an application online under the Counseling Page. Go to the Counseling drop down menu, go to forms/applications. All applications are due TOMORROW, February 26.
• Applications for Airband are available in the Activities office. All Airband Applications are due TODAY - so pick yours up asap
• The finance will be closed on Thursday and Friday, February 27th and 28th. Please plan accordingly.
• "A big congratulations to Alexis Clinkscales for taking 6th place in Impromptu Speech at the Valley Speech Championship this last weekend!"

• The Gender and Sexuality Alliance club (GSA) is meeting in the library tomorrow. Mrs. Whitehouse, our librarian, will be showing us how to find LGBTQ+ books in the library! Meet us there!



Black History Fact of the Day:: Essynce Moore is a 17 year old entrepreneur, trendsetter, public speaker, and author. When she was 12 years old she signed her first book deal and released her first book all about the struggles of middle school. Since then, Essynce has not only written more books that address the topics of bullying, cliques, and surviving middle school, but she is also the only teen ever to have a school district make her books required reading for its students.
