Sports……
• Sports Packets are available to fill out online if you want to start this process now. Go to the Athletics Tab on the I.H.S. website and click on Sports Packet, you will find a link to the online sports packet and a physical form to download and print for the doctor.
• We will be hosting zoom meetings with Sports coaches next week – immediately following virtual club fair days. Please check the website next week for more information.
Announcements…..
• Congrats to our Dress up day winners from last week – Eshaan Sidhu, Danny Yanez, Joel Caro Montano, Devon Ventolieri, and Niam Edralin. They are each receiving a spirit pack from the ASB office. Way to show your Falcon Spirit.
• CSF Applications for Spring Semester 2020 are due no later than this Friday, September 25th. A link to apply is available on the I.HS. webpage. No late applications will be accepted. Payments will be made next week after applications are reviewed. Contact your counsellor if you have any questions.
• Attention Seniors – Please make your appointment to take your photo for the yearbook ASAP. Call Steven Studios @ 832-9003 for your appointment. All yearbook photos must be taken at Steven’s studios. No purchase is required for your free yearbook photo.
• Follow I.H.S. News on their YouTube Channel – Search “News From The Nest” on YouTube and subscribe to watch every week. What will happen next in the Freddy Saga?????
• Want to follow IHS On social media – go to the I.H.S website for the most up to date Instagram and Twitter connections to all the groups around campus.
Meetings…..
• The NAMI club will have a zoom meeting every Thursday @ 2:00 pm. Please email Mrs Elrod for the link. [email protected]
• Virtual Club Days are happening next week – If you are interested in joining a club at Independence, we will be hosting two days of virtual club fair days on Wednesday Sept 30th and Thursday Oct 1st, from 1:15 pm – 1:45 pm. All clubs participating will have a link available join the Zoom meeting. There will also be a link to sign up for each club offered at I.H.S.
