Sports……
•Sports Packets are available to fill out online if you want to start this process now. Go to the Athletics Tab on the I.H.S. website and click on Sports Packet, you will find a link to the online sports packet and a physical form to download and print for the doctor.
• Boys and Girls JV Tennis teams will be starting Conditioning this week – to the I.H.S. website to complete your athletics packet asap so that you can join one of these teams.
• Are you interested in playing water polo – well Independence will be having its first ever Boys and Girls water polo teams this year. If you are interested please email Mrs. Abrams @ [email protected] for information. You will also need to complete an athletics packet to participate.

• Attention Seniors – The final day to take a Picture for the Yearbook is November 13th. There will be no extensions. If you do not already have an appointment, we will be having drive-thru photo sessions this week on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 PM here at Independence. No purchase is required for your free yearbook photo. Come dressed to impress and drive thru the bus loading zone to meet with a photographer. This is your final chance to be in the Senior Section of the 2020-21 yearbook.
• This is the Final week for Senior Shirt Sales. We will not be placing any further orders this year. Go to the I.H.S. website or Senior Class Instagram to fill out the google order form and then you must go to the new webstore or come to the finance office no later than this Thursday @ 3:00 pm to pay for your order. Unpaid orders will not be placed. Contact Ms. Bravo or Ms. Liz if you have any questions.
• Anyone taking an AP test this year – your registration is due no later than this Friday (Nov 13). Go to https://myap.collegeboard.org to create and account and register. Payment is not due until March 1st. Anyone registering after Nov 13th will owe a $40 late fee. Register today.

Art Club will not be meeting until we return to on campus classes.
Animal club meets on Thursdays from 2-2:30 on Zoom.
Class of 2023 meets every other Thursday at 1:30pm on Zoom
NAMI Club meets every Thursday at 2:00 pm on Zoom
Pride Club meets every Tuesday at 2pm on Zoom
SHSS Club meet on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm on Zoom
