Good morning! It’s Falcon Friday!  If you’re wearing IHS colors today (maroon or gray), find Mrs. Heiss at lunch to get a prize!  Let’s celebrate our falcon pride!

If you’re a freshman interested in a leadership position at IHS, please consider joining ASB!  Applications are available on the IHS website under Activities - ASB and in the Activities Office.  There is a mandatory meeting for all freshmen interested in ASB on Monday in Portable 2 during 4th-period lunch.

If you’re involved in a club, please remember to fill out the renewal forms in order to reactivate your club for this school year.  Club forms can be found on the “Club Information” page under the “Activities” tab on the IHS website.

Pride Club will have its first meeting next Wednesday (September 1st) at lunch.  Ms. Garrison will host during 4th period lunch in room 701 and Ms. Kolberg will host during 5th period lunch in the PAC.  Don’t miss the first meeting of the year!

Today is the last day that the counselors will accept schedule change requests.

Still interested in joining a sport?  We need players on our brand new water polo teams - starting spots are still available!  Plus, you get to use the beautiful new pool next door! Also, football and girls tennis need players, as well!  Come by the Activities Office for more info!

Best of luck to our football and cross country teams as they travel to compete today - if you see our players on campus, give them a fist bump and tell them they’re awesome!  Our cheerleaders are traveling, too, so make sure to give them a shout out as well!

JV football players and cheerleaders will be leaving today at lunch.  Varsity players need to be released at 1pm (during 6th period).

Next week we’ll host our first home games for football - come out and support us as we smash Centennial!  We’ll be hosting a tailgate party for freshmen before Thursday’s frosh/soph game - free food and a free ticket?  Sounds good to me!

Let’s wrap up a great week, Falcons!  Remember, masks on!  Stay safe and healthy and have a fabulous weekend!
