Happy Friday, Falcons!  Hope to see you all wearing your tie dye - keep an eye out for Link Crew and ASB students at lunch - they’ll be handing out prizes for those of you wearing tie dye in any form (shoes count, too!).

Last night’s frosh/soph football game against Stockdale was incredible - our team absolutely crushed the Mustangs in a win with a score of 16 to 6.  Congratulations on a truly epic game!  Tonight should be just as amazing - come out and cheer for our JV and Varsity teams!  Teachers, if an athlete gave you a jersey to wear, congratulations!  Please come out and wear it to support your player!  Games start at 5 and 7 - we’ll keep you posted if there are any heat delays.

The Anime club will be having its first meeting next Monday during lunch. Mrs. Wilcox will be hosting 4th period in room 911 and 5th period lunch will meet in room 1012 with Mr. Gregerson. Come join us to hang out and watch some anime!

NAMI, which stands for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, will have its first meeting during 4th and 5th period lunches in P10 on Thursday, September 16th.  See Mrs. Elrod or Mr. Weaver if you have any questions.  Hope to see you there!

Do you have falcon bucks from the 19-20 school year?  If so, you have until September 30th to spend them.  They will be void after that time.  Falcon bucks can be used at the student store, and for some items sold at the finance office.

Seniors - remember, the deadline for taking your senior photos is October 30.  Please contact inMotionpro to schedule an appointment.  Their information can be found on the IHS homepage.

It’s almost time for homecoming, so start thinking about who your club or organization would like to nominate for homecoming royalty!  We’ll be sending out more information next week, so stay tuned!

Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of 9/11.  If you know anyone who has served in the armed forces - past or present - please thank them for their service.
