Good morning, Falcons! It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for some useless trivia! Apparently rubber bands last longer when refrigerated. And now you know!
Today is picture day! Hopefully you all combed your hair and washed your faces! English classes will be coming to the PAC for photos, and freshmen and sophomores will also be signing their “Commitment to Graduate” banners!
For all of you slowpokes, we are going to continue to have random tardy sweeps. If you get caught in a tardy sweep, your parent will be contacted and you will be assigned lunch detention. So hurry up and get to class!
Calling all FRESHMEN! Do you want a free Homecoming T-shirt? Come to the freshman class homecoming meeting tomorrow at lunch in room 1209 to find out how you can earn one. We need the BEST dancers, artists and free thinkers to help out. Meeting starts at 10:50 am in room 1209 on Friday.
The NAMI club - featured in yesterday’s News from the Nest - meets every Thursday in P10 during both lunch periods - hope to see you there!
Attention Class of 2023! There will be a meeting today (Thursday) in Mrs. Hopkins’ class, room 713, during 5th period lunch. We will decide on our Homecoming dance choreography and design. See you in room 713 today during 5th period!

Attention all future Wrestlers: If you are interested in joining the boys or girls wrestling team this season, there will be a meeting during both lunches on Thursday, September 30th in the wrestling room in the gym.
Anyone interested in joining the National Honor Society should attend the meeting next Thursday during 5th-period lunch in Room 713. Grab your lunch and head over - the meeting will start at noon!
Today is our Club Council meeting! Any club that has received ASB approval should send an officer to P2 during 4th or 5th-period lunch in P2. We’ll be providing information about Club Fair Day and other club business.
Remember, wear your IHS colors tomorrow - maroon and gray! We’ll be handing out candy at lunch!
