Good morning, Falcons! We made it through another week! Remember, next week is Kindness Week, so get ready for some amazing activities and important lessons on how we can support each other!
For all of you slowpokes, we are going to continue to have random tardy sweeps. If you get caught in a tardy sweep, your parent will be contacted and you will be assigned lunch detention. So hurry up and get to class!
Calling all FRESHMEN! Do you want a free Homecoming T-shirt? Come to the freshman class homecoming meeting tomorrow at lunch in room 1209 to find out how you can earn one. We need the BEST dancers, artists and free thinkers to help out. Meeting starts at 10:50 am in room 1209 on Friday.
Congratulations to the women's cross country team for their victory in the first SYL league meet. Sophomore Trinity McLean was the overall winner, with senior Tori Suarez finishing fifth. Freshman Addyson Evens turned in an excellent race, as did juniors Cynthia Fletes and Ava Steward. The men's team finished third in their race, with senior Cristian Galindo and sophomore Jaden Tungate taking third and fourth place, respectively. Senior Josh Bell and sophomore Coleman Silvas also ran great races to help the men's team. Way to go, Falcons!
If you plan on playing girls basketball this season, it is EXTREMELY important that you have both your physical and athletic packet completed and turned in before Monday, October 11th, which will be the first day of conditioning. You will not be able to participate unless you have been cleared. If you have any questions please see Coach Zetina, Coach Davis (not Mr. Davis…Miss Davis) or Coach Kirby.
CSF applications MUST be turned in by lunch today in the Finance Office.
Attention all future Wrestlers: If you are interested in joining the boys or girls wrestling team this season, there will be a meeting during both lunches on Thursday, September 30th in the wrestling room in the gym.
Anime club will be meeting Monday, September 27th in room 911 during 4th-period lunch and in room 1012 during 5th-period lunch.
Anyone interested in joining the National Honor Society should attend the meeting next Thursday during 5th-period lunch in Room 713. Grab your lunch and head over - the meeting will start at noon!
SENIORS: Confused about how to start your FAFSA? Don’t panic! We’re having workshops to help create the FSA ID. They’ll be held on September 29th and 30th - you pick which date to attend. Sign-ups are in the counseling office with Mrs. Gillenwater - before school, lunch or after school.
Thanks to everyone who came to our Club Council meeting yesterday! Club advisors, please check your email and complete the form to sign up for Club Fair Day next Wednesday! Forms are due by Monday at noon, and the first clubs to sign up get the spots in the shade!
