Good morning, Falcons! Thanks to everyone who came out to our Club Fair Day yesterday - it was awesome to see everyone interested in getting involved on campus!  Also, our Kindness Week competition is getting close!  Seniors and juniors are currently neck-and-neck, but it’s still anyone’s game!

Today’s theme is “Thankful Thursday,” so we’ll have thank-you cards available for you at lunch.  Write a note to a teacher or staff member who you feel especially grateful for - don’t forget about the custodians who keep our campus clean, the cafeteria workers who serve our food, and our office staff who keep everything running smoothly!  Take a picture of yourself delivering your note and submit it using the QR codes posted around campus for points!  Remember, bring your favorite blanket and lunch tomorrow for a picnic on the quad!

Do you like to express yourself and create? Would you like to collaborate with fellow artsy students? Then you need to join the Art Club!  See Mrs. Rossetto in room 221 for our first meeting this Friday 10/1 at the start of 5th lunch to sign up.

Calling all FRESHMEN! Do you want a free Homecoming T-shirt? Come check in with Mrs. Barker in 1209 to find out how you can earn one. We need the BEST dancers, artists and free thinkers to help out.

Drama Club will be meeting today after school in the PAC!  Let’s chat about homecoming, t-shirt plans, and fundraising ideas!

Interested in discussing historic events as well as ongoing events around the world? History Club meets every other Monday, starting next Monday, October 4th, during 5th period lunch in room 805. Hope to see you there!

If you plan on playing girls basketball this season, it is EXTREMELY important that you have both your physical and athletic packet completed and turned in before Monday, October 11th, which will be the first day of conditioning. You will not be able to participate unless you have been cleared. If you have any questions please see Coach Zetina, Coach Davis (not Mr. Davis…Miss Davis) or Coach Kirby.

Attention all future wrestlers: If you are interested in joining the boys or girls wrestling team this season, there will be a meeting during both lunches today in the wrestling room in the gym.

Anyone interested in joining the National Honor Society should attend the meeting on today during 5th-period lunch in Room 713.  Grab your lunch and head over - the meeting will start at noon!

SENIORS: Confused about how to start your FAFSA?  Don’t panic!  We’re having workshops to help create the FSA ID. There’s still time for you to attend today! Sign-ups are in the counseling office with Mrs. Gillenwater.

Beginning this week, there will be tutoring in the library on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There will be subject-specific tutoring and homework help from 2:45-4:15. There will also be a tutoring bus that leaves at 4:30 from the gym parking lot. Check out the flyers around campus or ask your teachers for more information.

Class competition alert! Do you want to win an ice cream party for your class? Do you even have to ask? If so, have your parent or guardian submit your 2021 Lunch Alternative Income Form BEFORE October 6th. The form is on our website and paper copies are available in the counseling office. It’s a super simple form that takes only a minute to complete.  The class that submits the highest number of forms will receive an ice cream party on October 15.
