Good morning, Falcons! Hopefully you got a few extra minutes of sleep this morning, since you could just roll out of bed and stay in your pjs!  Great to see those spooky pajamas on campus today!  Remember, tomorrow is “Trick or Treat Tuesday,” so bring anything but a bag to collect some candy!  Think laundry baskets, buckets, wagons, anything but a backpack!   Wednesday is “Just US” twin day, Thursday is “dress like your favorite scary movie character,” and Friday is “Falcon freakout” (wear your IHS colors!).  Remember, we can’t wear full halloween masks or carry weapons of any kind on campus.  Check the IHS socials for more info about spirit days.

Mrs. Barker and the Media Arts class have created amazing Homecoming shirts to sell for only $5!  They’ll be available for purchase beginning tomorrow! Please bring exact change only!

Voting for homecoming royalty will take place in front of the deans’ office during lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  Please bring your ID with you!

Every lunch this week will feature a game matching the theme of homecoming.  Today’s will be during 4th period lunch, as it’s run by our freshmen officers, and will involve flipping cups and finding ghosts in the quad - candy will be handed out as prizes!

Remember, we have a huge rally planned for Friday - we’ll have class competitions, performances, and games - we’ll all be in the football stadium, so bring your energy and spooky school spirit!

Congratulations to Frosh-Soph Football Team for their win last week over RFK! Way to make the Falcon Family proud!

Huge congratulations to our speech and debate team who competed on Saturday at Stockdale High School.  Our very own Kyle Sebbern and Morgan Sharp placed second overall - amazing job!

Urgent announcement for all freshmen, sophomore, juniors, and seniors! You only have until THIS WEDNESDAY to submit your lunch form and help your class win an ice cream party. Forms are available on our website and in the counseling office. Remind your parents to submit yours today!

Interested in discussing historic events as well as ongoing events around the world? History Club meets every other Monday, starting today during 5th period lunch in room 805. Hope to see you there!

Attention seniors who will be applying to CSUB: Mr. Riggins is coming to campus on October 7th to give a presentation about CSUB and the application process.  The sign up sheet is on the Class of 2022 Google Classroom page.
