Good morning, Falcons! Great to see all of your amazing receptacles today - I’m sure you’ll have plenty of space to collect your candy during your trick or treat lunch! Remember, tomorrow is “Just US” twin day, Thursday is “dress like your favorite scary movie character,” and Friday is “Falcon freakout” (wear your IHS colors!). Remember, we can’t wear full halloween masks or carry weapons of any kind on campus. Check the IHS socials for more info about spirit days.
During your lunch, you are welcome to walk around campus and look for the doors that have the “Trick or Treat” poster - make sure it’s for the correct lunch period! If you see a flyer posted, knock on the door and say “Trick or Treat,” and wait for your prize! Teachers, we’ll be delivering your candy and door posters this period.
Mrs. Barker and the Media Arts class have created amazing Homecoming shirts to sell for only $5! They’ll be available for purchase beginning today at lunch in the quad! Please bring exact change only!
Voting for homecoming royalty will take place in front of the deans’ office during lunches today and tomorrow. We’ve sent your teachers a slideshow with all the nominees, and we’ve also posted it on the IHS website - take a look before you vote! Please bring your ID with you!
Every lunch this week will feature a game matching the theme of homecoming. Today’s will be organized by the sophomores - can’t wait to see what they have planned for us!
Remember, we have a huge rally planned for Friday - we’ll have class competitions, performances, and games - we’ll all be in the football stadium, so bring your energy and spooky school spirit!
The Writing Club will meet tomorrow in room 617 during 4th period lunch and room 713 during 5th period lunch! Come by to hear about this year’s activities!
It’s meeting time for the Asian Student Union. We will meet today after school in room 1006 from 2:45-3:15. Hope to see you there!
Sikh Honors and Service Society has a meeting on Wednesday from 245-314 in room 804.
Attention Lady Falcon Hoopers! If you are not currently in a fall sport, conditioning/try-outs starts next Monday October, 11th, and will be Monday-Friday 3pm-4:15pm. You must have been cleared by the Athletics Office to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS. We will meet in room 912 on the first day. See you Monday!
Urgent announcement for all freshmen, sophomore, juniors, and seniors! You only have until THIS WEDNESDAY to submit your lunch form and help your class win an ice cream party. Forms are available on our website and in the counseling office. Remind your parents to submit yours today!
