Good morning, Falcons! Today is National Dessert Day, so that means it’s your patriotic duty to go to Coldstone, Crumbl, or Sugar Twist after school!  Personally, I’ll be selecting a fruit tart from Sugar Twist - the fruit helps me pretend it’s healthy!

Our first blood drive of the year is today!  We had nearly 200 students sign up, and only 90 spots available, but don’t worry if you didn’t get a spot today.  We’ll be having another drive in a couple of months!  Those of you who signed up but didn’t get in this time will be scheduled first for the next round.  If you received a confirmation email for today’s drive, you should be expecting a call slip during the day that will summon you to the library.  Please make sure you’ve eaten and have had plenty of water throughout the day so you feel your best!  Thank you to all of you - you’re saving lives today!

Falcons! Happiness Hangouts are back! A monthly meet-up to learn skills for overcoming hardships and being your happiest self! This month, help us welcome our special guest, Carissa Pope from Evolvecore yoga studio for a mindfulness session after school TODAY! You will not want to miss it! All students and staff members are welcome. Look out for our Happiness Hangouts posters around campus for more details and sign ups or see Mrs. Gillenwater in counseling for more information.

Do you have talent?  Of course you do!  That’s why we’re excited to announce upcoming auditions for the 2021 Falcons Got Talent show!  Auditions will take place after school the last week of October (more details will come tomorrow) - the show will be November 18th, and there will be CASH PRIZES!  More information and audition sign-ups will be available soon!

The fitness club will be meeting today during fifth-period lunch in room 711. We will be discussing upcoming events and fundraising. Grab your lunch and head to 711 and we'll see you there!

Drama Club will be meeting today during 4th-period lunch in room 603 and in the PAC during 5th-period lunch.

There will a BSU meeting today from 2:45- 3:45pm in room #1005.

Attention Star Wars fans! The Millennium Falcons are having their first club meeting today during 5th period in Room 815. If you are a Star Wars fan or would like to learn more about the Force, stop by and check it out. Until then, May the Force Be With You!

Attention Lady Falcon Hoopers!  Conditioning/tryouts have begun (3pm-4:15p, Monday - Friday) and if you are not in a fall sport, participation is mandatory.  Be advised that this is part of the trying out process if you are not in a fall sport.  You must have been cleared by the athletics office to participate.  Any athlete not attending conditioning for other than medical reasons will not be allowed to participate this coming season.  If you have any questions please contact Coach Zetina (912), Coach Davis or Coach Kirby (P9).   See you out there!

Hey falcons! If you’re interested in playing soccer for the boys’ soccer team, please fill out an athletic packet online and make sure you have a 2.0 GPA in order to start conditioning. We will start on October 18th on the side practice fields. For more information, please follow our Instagram page  falconsoccer_.

Our first food sale day is coming up next Thursday! Your advisors received a sign-up form yesterday for clubs to sell food in the quad - looking forward to some KFC, Panda Express, and tacos! Make sure all your forms are submitted today!
