Good morning, Falcons! Huge thank you to everyone who showed up for our blood drive yesterday - we had almost 100 people donate!  That’s a lot of lives saved!  If you didn’t get a chance to donate yesterday, don’t worry - we’ll be having another blood drive in December!

Next week is PINK OUT!  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so wear pink as often as you can, especially at Friday’s game, where we’ll be selling pink cotton candy as a fundraiser to benefit cancer research!  Also, we’ll be honoring seniors at next week’s games, so make sure to come out and support your fellow falcons!

Do you have talent?  Of course you do!  That’s why we’re excited to announce upcoming auditions for the 2021 Falcons Got Talent show!  Auditions will take place after school the last week of October (more details will come tomorrow) - the show will be November 18th, and there will be CASH PRIZES!  More information and audition sign-ups will be available soon!

Congratulations to the cross country teams for their excellent performances in the third league meet. The Varsity Women's team won again! This time, junior Elena Baltazar was the overall winner, with senior Tori Suarez and sophomore Trinity McLean close behind. In the men's race, sophomore Jaden Tungate led the Falcons to a second place finish, with senior Cristian Galindo Salazar right behind him. The JV Boys were led by Aaron Ramirez and Alejandro Rojas as they won their first meet of the season. THe JV girls ran their best race of the season as well, with Jimena Rocha, Shaimae Khan and Kaylee Rodriguez leading the way. Way to go Falcons!!!!!

Attention Lady Falcon Hoopers!  Conditioning/tryouts have begun (3pm-4:15p, Monday - Friday) and if you are not in a fall sport, participation is mandatory.  Be advised that this is part of the trying out process if you are not in a fall sport.  You must have been cleared by the athletics office to participate.  Any athlete not attending conditioning for other than medical reasons will not be allowed to participate this coming season.  If you have any questions please contact Coach Zetina (912), Coach Davis or Coach Kirby (P9).   See you out there!

Come out to support your amazing Falcon choir next Tuesday in the PAC!  Our choir will be performing their first concert of the year at 7pm!

Hey falcons! If you’re interested in playing soccer for the boys’ soccer team, please fill out an athletic packet online and make sure you have a 2.0 GPA in order to start conditioning. We will start on October 18th on the side practice fields. For more information, please follow our Instagram page  falconsoccer_.

United Nations Club will have a meeting and a picture day for all members who donated books today from 2:45-3:15 in the PAC.

Our first food sale day is coming up next Thursday! Your advisors received a sign-up form yesterday for clubs to sell food in the quad - looking forward to some KFC, Panda Express, and tacos! Make sure all your forms are submitted!
