Good morning, Falcons! Today is National Chocolate Day, which means it’s also National Give Your Teacher Chocolate Day. Just so you know, this is a great way to improve their mood!
Thank you to everyone who tried out for Falcons Got Talent! We’ll announce the names of those who made it into the show tomorrow at the end of the day. There will be a list posted on the Activities Office window.
Are you animated and outgoing? Do you love going to IHS events? If you meet those criteria and are a junior or senior, come try out to be our school mascot after school TODAY in the cafeteria! We need YOU to be Freddy the Falcon!
It’s getting chilly! Animal Club will be collecting gently used and new blankets for shelter dogs, many of whom sleep on cold concrete floors. Please turn them in to your 2nd period class. Winning class gets a donut party!
We hope you’ve been enjoying the RISE activities and the competitions at lunch! Also, shout out to those of you displaying amazing RISE behavior - Mrs. Giese’s 3rd period class was cleaning up our campus yesterday. What a wonderful display of responsibility and service!
Remember, tomorrow is our Halloween costume contest, so get ready to strut your stuff on the red carpet in the quad! Winners receive gift cards! Just remember - no full-face masks or weapons!
Winter sport tryout times have been updated - please check the IHS website for the new times.
There will be a short meeting for Freshman and Sophomores interested in playing baseball today at lunch in the gym.
The last day for club approvals is tomorrow - please make sure you’ve submitted your paperwork for the year if you’re interested in starting a club!
Speaking of clubs, there is a BSU meeting today during 5th-period lunchin room 1005. Officers will be announced at the meeting. If you have 4th-period lunch, refer to the BSU Canvas for information on the meeting dates.
Hello all you Star Wars fans! The Millennium Falcons will be holding meetings on Fridays during 5th period in room 815. Everyone in the Galaxy is welcome. Till then: May the Force Be With You!
From discussing historic events to conversing about ongoing events around the world, join History Club at their next meeting this upcoming Monday, November 1st during 5th period lunch in room 805.
Seniors who are applying to any UC campus, our 1st and only workshop will be held on November 3rd during periods 1-4. Sign up in the counseling office before school, during lunch, or after school. The deadline to apply is October 30th.
Lifetouch will be back on campus on November 4th for makeup pictures - if you didn’t get yours taken in September, please make sure you come get yours done next week!
