Good morning, Falcons!  Today is Trivia Tuesday, so here’s your fact of the day!  Did you know that there’s a cat version of a corgi?  The adorable short-legged feline is called the “munchkin cat,” and I think I need one in my life.

The animal club blanket drive was a success with 6 large bags of blankets and towels delivered to the Animal Care Center on Mt. Vernon Avenue.  Thank you to all who donated.  Ms. Elrod's class won the donuts with 18 blankets collected!  We will have an after school meeting today in room 905 from 2:45-3:00.  We will be talking about designing and ordering t-shirts!

We’re going to start distributing boxes to classrooms for our annual canned food drive!  Each year IHS donates baskets of food to needy families that include canned and boxed food, plus frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving!  We’ll need items like canned corn, cranberry sauce, boxed potatoes, stuffing, and items that would work for the holidays (no tuna or sardines, please!).  Bring them to your second period class - the class that donates the most wins a donut party!

Next week is our first live talent show in two years!  Come check out our incredible singers, dancers, and musicians in Falcons Got Talent on November 18!  Ticket prices are $7 for general admission and $6 with an ASB sticker.  Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm.

Senior shirts are available to order - grab a pink order form from the Activities Office.  The deadline for orders is November 17, so don’t delay!  If you already ordered yours in the previous round, yours should be arriving within the next couple of weeks!

If you worked in the student store or at a football or volleyball game, and earned Falcon Cash in September or October, you MUST pick up your earnings no later than November 18th or risk losing them.  See Mrs. Moore in the finance office if you have any questions.

Today’s ASB meeting has been changed to 5th period, so teachers, students should check in with you before heading over to P2.

Seniors applying to CSU campuses, our LAST application workshop is November 17th.  Sign up in the counseling office before school, lunch or after school.  Deadline to apply to the CSU colleges is November 30th.
