Good morning, Falcons!  We made it!  Today is a minimum day, so remember - there are no regular lunch periods - your lunch will just be grab-and-go!

Thanks to everyone who donated food for our Thanksgiving baskets!  This year we were able to put together boxes for 12 families - what a great gift from our Falcon community!

Congratulations to the performers in last night’s Falcons Got Talent show!  Everyone was amazing, from Amara Lane’s insane vocals, to Lindy Carter’s gorgeous dance, and Malory Bernardin’s inspiring Hamilton routine.  Huge props to our winners: In third place, Aimee Hernandez Lam; in second place, Grace Hanash; and our first place winner, earning $300, was none other than Darius Spotwood!  Thank you to everyone who helped put the show together and to the staff who helped judge and run the event.  Also, congrats to everyone who was present to experience the one-time reunion concert with Dylan Tran and the DT Holders!!

Come out to support our football team tonight as we take on Roosevelt!  If we win this one, we play in the Valley Championship next week! Remember, all tickets must be purchased online using the QR code you’ll find on the flyers posted on campus and on our website.

Congrats to all the teams who have played this week: our basketball team was hard at work yesterday, as were our soccer players.  Our cross-country team is still going strong - keep up the great work, everyone!

If you haven’t picked up your senior shirt, you may come by after school (do not come during or between classes - you will be sent back to class).

We have great news, SENIORS! Cal-SOAP will be open virtually during Thanksgiving break to assist you with your CSU/UC application(s)!  As the deadlines are quickly approaching, we want to make sure that you get the help you need to successfully submit your application(s). Please join us in the Cal-SOAP Virtual Zoom Lobby Monday-Wednesday between 8:00am-5:00pm to complete your application. Do not wait until the last minute to submit to ensure that you have enough time to complete everything prior to the deadline - November 30th. The zoom link is in the Class of 2022 Google Classroom page or in your Class of 2022 Canvas announcements.

Seniors who will be attending BC or Taft College next year:  You can sign up for the BC and Taft Application workshops in the Counseling Office before school, lunch or after school.  BC will be on campus December 1st and 2nd.  Taft will be on campus December 7th and 8th.  You must attend this workshop to move to the next step in the registration process.

Falcons, we hope everyone has a great holiday week - please try to get some rest, recharge your batteries, and eat lots of delicious pie!  See you on November 29!
