Good morning, Falcons!  Hope you got a ton of rest and ate plenty of pie!  Welcome to the last week of November!  I can’t believe how fast this year is moving!  Get ready for a packed 3 weeks, because we have a lot planned!  We’ll be holding a spirit week, class competitions, and lunch activities - so get ready for a holiday extravaganza!

Of course, we can’t go without congratulating our football team for winning Valley Championships on Friday night - what a historic game!  Our Falcons will head to regionals this Friday in Los Angeles - we’re so proud of you!

Trinity McLean qualified for and ran in the state meet this weekend with an incredible time and placement - congratulations, Trinity!  Even after being knocked down, she still got up and placed super high!

Our basketball and soccer teams play this week - women’s basketball will be here today playing against Caesar Chavez - come support our players! Other games are away, but keep them in mind and give them fist bumps when you see them on campus!

Senior shirts may be picked up during 5th-period lunch (do not come during or between classes - you will be sent back to class).

We have another blood drive coming up on December 16 - if you’re interested in participating, please come pick up a permission slip from the Activities Office starting tomorrow (Tuesday) and set up your appointment online.

Color guard tryouts will be happening next week after school - please see Miss Liz in the Activities Office to sign up or for more information.

Anime Club meets Mondays in room 911 during 4th period lunch and room 1012 during 5th period lunch.

We have great news, SENIORS! Cal-SOAP will be open virtually during Thanksgiving break to assist you with your CSU/UC application(s)!  As the deadlines are quickly approaching, we want to make sure that you get the help you need to successfully submit your application(s). Please join us in the Cal-SOAP Virtual Zoom Lobby Monday-Wednesday between 8:00am-5:00pm to complete your application. Do not wait until the last minute to submit to ensure that you have enough time to complete everything prior to the deadline - November 30th. The zoom link is in the Class of 2022 Google Classroom page or in your Class of 2022 Canvas announcements.

Seniors who will be attending BC or Taft College next year:  You can sign up for the BC and Taft Application workshops in the Counseling Office before school, lunch or after school.  BC will be on campus December 1st and 2nd.  Taft will be on campus December 7th and 8th.  You must attend this workshop to move to the next step in the registration process.
