Good morning, Falcons! Today is National Personal Space Day - give each other some room! Stop crowding me! No, seriously - you’re way too close.
Yesterday, our women’s basketball teams played extremely well against Delano’s Cesar Chavez High School - congrats! Also, our men’s basketball team did an awesome job battling BHS! Today, our men’s soccer team goes head-to-head with Highland - beat those Scots, Falcons!
Senior shirts may be picked up during 5th-period lunch (do not come during or between classes - you will be sent back to class).
Next week, we’ll kick off our Penny Wars for the Ronald McDonald House - this is an organization that provides housing and support for families with children in the hospital. So, you’ll be collecting pennies in your 2nd-period classrooms - we’ll distribute cans on Friday! The winning class will earn donuts!
We have another blood drive coming up on December 16 - if you’re interested in participating, please come pick up a permission slip from the Activities Office starting today and set up your appointment online - use the QR code to sign up. Remember - you must be at least 16 years old to donate and everyone must get paperwork signed by parents/guardians.
Color guard tryouts will be happening next week after school - please see Miss Liz in the Activities Office to sign up or for more information.
Our ASB meeting today will be during 6th period - students, please check in with your teacher first and then head over to P2! We have a ton of planning to do!
Have you been thinking of applying for ROC or CTEC for the 2022-2023 school year? There are some amazing programs - like firefighting, pharmacy tech, culinary training, fashion design, and more! If so, Mr. Little will be here during both lunches on Thursday, December 2nd. He will be located outside of the Dean's Office and can answer any of your questions about the programs.
Seniors who will be attending BC or Taft College next year: You can sign up for the BC and Taft Application workshops in the Counseling Office before school, lunch or after school. BC will be on campus December 1st and 2nd. Taft will be on campus December 7th and 8th. You must attend this workshop to move to the next step in the registration process.
