Good morning, Falcons!  Happy last day of finals!  Remember, we have a 3-day weekend, so once you’re finished with 7th period today, go home, put on your stretchy pants, and watch some Netflix - you deserve it!  We’ll have the same 20-minute nutrition break and our student store will be open again today.

Today formal tickets are $60, so get yours this week before they go up in price again onTuesday!  Our finance office will be open before and after school and during the 20-minute break between 6th and th periods.

Remember, it’s not too late to apply for formal royalty!  We’ve extended the deadline to this today - pick up the application in the Activities Office before or after school!  And remember - all grades are eligible!  Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors each have their own categories!

Huge congratulations to La Don Denmark and Evan Peaker, who have been selected to play in the Army Bowl game at Rabobank Arena!  And congratulations to Chloe Rios and Mia Casey for being selected as All-Star Cheerleaders who will perform in the halftime show!  So proud that all of you will be representing IHS!

Students, if you are late to school and enter through the main office, be prepared to show your ID, wear a mask, and sign in with security. All students entering the office after the gates close at 7:45am must have an ID.

Seniors who will be attending BC next year, our LAST and FINAL application workshop is January 19th.  You must attend this workshop to move to the next step in the process, which is meeting with a BC counselor to discuss your plan and classes.  Sign up in the counseling office before school, at lunch, or after school.

Attention sophomores and juniors:  If you are interested in attending a tour of ROC or CTEC, please sign up for a visit!  From our website, go to the Counseling drop down menu, and then select Applications/Forms.  Space is limited.  Students must have good attendance, no discipline incidents this school year, and a minimum 2.0 overall GPA to attend the field trip.

If you’d like to audition for the spring musical, please see Mrs. Kolberg for more information - auditions will be held January 27th and 28th after school in the PAC.  This is going to be an amazing show, so if you have any interest in singing, acting, or dancing (or if you want to help with costumes, makeup, set design, or sound and lights), make sure to come out to the auditions!

Have a great weekend, Falcons!  Keep your masks on inside, wash your hands, and stay safe!
