Good morning, Falcons!  Welcome to 2nd semester!  Hope you enjoyed your 3-day weekend and are ready to celebrate this spirit week in our lead up to winter formal!

Today’s theme is Once Upon a Time, so we hope we’ll see everyone dressed as their favorite fairy tale character.  Today’s lunch competition is going to be amazing - come out to the quad and show off your musical knowledge as we play “finish the lyrics!”

Tomorrow’s theme is Pixie Hollow - or the Elements (earth, air, wind, fire), so use your imagination to create your own look!  Our lunch competition will be hilarious - it involves dancing, ping pong balls, and some good music.  Don’t miss out!!  Check out our website and socials for details on the rest of our spirit week themes and activities!

This week, winter formal tickets are $65, and will be sold up until the end of 5th-period lunch on Thursday, January 20.  No tickets will be sold after that date, so make sure you have your paperwork completed, your debt cleared, and your tickets purchased in time!

For formal court, you’ll be voting this week to narrow down the candidates before formal.  Then, the final candidates will be chosen during the dance and crowned as royalty! Use the QR codes that are posted around campus to vote - remember, you can only vote once and for students in your own class only (so, sophomores may only vote for a sophore duke and a sophomore duchess.  Now for your formal royalty nominees:

Students, if you are late to school and enter through the main office, be prepared to show your ID, wear a mask, and sign in with security. All students entering the office after the gates close at 7:45am must have an ID.

Seniors who will be attending BC next year, our LAST and FINAL application workshop is tomorrow, January 19th.  You must attend this workshop to move to the next step in the process, which is meeting with a BC counselor to discuss your plan and classes.  Sign up in the counseling office before school, at lunch, or after school.

If you’d like to audition for the spring musical, please see Mrs. Kolberg for more information - auditions will be held January 27th and 28th after school in the PAC.  This is going to be an amazing show, so if you have any interest in singing, acting, or dancing (or if you want to help with costumes, makeup, set design, or sound and lights), make sure to come out to the auditions!

Today’s ASB meeting is during 7th period - teachers, students will check in with you and then head to P2.

Have a great week, Falcons!  Keep your masks on inside, wash your hands, and stay safe!
