Good morning, Falcons!  Today we have two very special birthdays!  Mrs. Lopez and Mr. Polski are both another year older today!  Hope you both eat lots of cake!  And, speaking of cake, today is national chocolate cake day, and I’m wondering why this isn’t a federal holiday.  Let’s make it happen, Biden!

If you played a fall sport, you’ll be receiving a certificate and pin from ASB delivered to your class over the next couple of days.  We’ll also be delivering pictures to those of you who ordered them.  We are so proud of all of our amazing football, volleyball, tennis, golf, water polo, and cross country athletes!

Hey Falcons! Spring sports have already begun! If you are not already playing basketball, soccer, or wrestling right now, come try out for a spring sport!!! SWIMMING, TRACK, BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, BOYS TENNIS and BOYS GOLF need more players, so come try out for the team! Come to the athletics office during lunch or after school to learn more and see about being cleared to play a sport!!

Congratulations to our varsity e-sports team, who won their match against Liberty 2-0. Also, the team is still accepting new members, even if they have no experience or a computer of their own.

If you are interested in joining the swim team, we start in the pool this week. Practice is from 3-5:30 and you need a suit and goggles. All levels of swimmers are welcome. Come to 1125 or the athletic office for more info. Make sure you have a physical first!

The boys’ soccer team will have their senior night tonight!  Come out and support this amazing team and honor their senior athletes!

The wrestling team senior night for both boys and girls will be tomorrow. If we beat Ridgeview in this duel, this will be the first time in the SYL that we will be League Champs!  Come out and support our wrestlers!

Mrs. Ojeda will be having 3 workshops to help with your FAFSA - Financial Aid application or your California Dream Act application.  She can answer questions you have, get you started on the application, or help you complete it and turn it in.  Please sign up in the counseling office, before school, lunch or after school, to attend.

Come join our NAMI Club meeting every Thursday during both lunch periods in P – 10.

The final payment deadline for AP tests is 2/25 - make sure to get your payment in by that date!

Have a great Thursday, Falcons!
