Good morning, Falcons! Hope you’ve been enjoying our Culture Club Crossover week! Remember, today is “Adventure through Asia” and you won’t want to miss it!
Happy birthday to the one and only Mr. Lara, economics guru and cross country coach! We love you!
Today’s Women’s History Month fact was suggested by one of our IHS students! Marsha P. Johnson was an American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969.
If you have a story about an inspiring woman you’d like to feature, please contact Mrs. Heiss! Thank you to the people who have already sent in ideas! Keep them coming!
Today is Day 4 of our Cultural Club Crossover week! Check out all of our activities in the quad this week! Today, we’ll be celebrating the many countries that make up Asia - our ISU, ASU, and other campus groups representing Asian cultures will be presenting all sorts of amazing things today! Come check it out!
Seniors, today is our assembly during 3rd period to discuss graduation and end-of-year activities. After the assembly, we’ll make our way to the stadium to take our panoramic picture!
Students, are you interested in a career in art, fashion, or merchandising? There is a college you can attend that specializes in these fields while you earn your degree. For the Zoom meeting time and ID, please see Mrs. Hoyt in the Career Center
If you are interested in playing girls’ basketball this summer and/or next season please see Coach Davis in the textbook room before school, after school, or during your lunch period to receive more details. You MUST sign up by Friday, March 31st if you want to participate in summer league.
Have a great Thursday, Falcons!
