Happy Friday, Falcons! Great job to our juniors who’ve completed their first week of testing - you made it out alive!
Today’s Women’s History Month fact was suggested by Rylee Birchfield! Sunisa Lee is an American artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic all-around champion and uneven bars bronze medalist. She was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2019 World Championships and silver at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Lee is a six-time member of the U.S. women's national gymnastics team and is the first Hmong-American Olympian. With six world championship and Olympic medals, she is tied with Gabby Douglas, Kim Zmeskal, Kyla Ross, and Rebecca Bross as the 9th-most-decorated American female gymnast.
If you have a story about an inspiring woman you’d like to feature, please contact Mrs. Heiss! Thank you to the people who have already sent in ideas! Keep them coming!
We hope you’ve enjoyed our Cultural Club Crossover Week! Today is the grand finale - all the different groups will be back in the quad and will perform one last time. There will also be snacks, so don’t miss out!
Staff, grab your picnic blankets and lawn chairs, because Mr. Varela will be cooking his famous tacos for us during both lunches! Then, if you have time, stop by the quad to check out our amazing cultural clubs!
Seniors, remember that information regarding graduation and end-of-year activities is posted on the IHS homepage!
Please remember that, in order to attend prom or any of the other activities we have planned, you must clear all of your debt beforehand! Please see Mrs. Moore in the Finance Office if you have questions about your account.
Have a great weekend, Falcons! Stay cool!
