Good morning, Falcons! Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather!
National Honors Society will hold its first meeting in room 604 today during lunch. Bring your lunch & come see what NHS is all about. Plus, there will be cookies!!
Maroon Goons will be meeting today during lunch in P2.
CSF is accepting applications until September 23rd. They can find the application in the counseling secretary desk or the IHS website.
Attention all Jedi and Sith Lords! The Millennium Falcons will be meeting in room 815 every Friday. Everyone in the galaxy is welcome...even Wookies!!
The countdown to homecoming has begun! The sophomore class - otherwise known as the ADVENTURERS, invites you to set sail with us on an Ocean Adventure! Make sure to check out the IHS instagram for more info about dress-up days, class responsibilities, and the dance! The dance, which will be on October 8, will feature great music, refreshments, and photo booth opportunities! Plus, royalty finalists will be announced that night!
Tickets for the homecoming dance will be on sale starting on Monday, September 19. You must submit a signed dance contract in order to purchase a ticket. The dance contracts are available in the Activities Office. Pre-sale tickets are $15 or $13 with an ASB sticker. The dance is Saturday, October 8 - here at IHS - from 6pm to 9pm. If you buy your ticket at the door, the price is $20. Remember, the finance office is open before school and during lunch (except for Mondays, when it’s open for an hour after school). Pre-sale tickets will only be available for purchase from September 19 to October 4.
Sophomores, you’ll be meeting tomorrow during lunch in room 613 to start planning for your portion of the rally!
Club/class/sports/other advisors: Please submit the names of two nominees for homecoming royalty! The students must be seniors. Please have your advisor or coach submit the names to Mrs. Heiss no later than tomorrow, September 16. Nominees will be notified the following week and will need to pick up an application in the Activities Office.
SENIORS: Please schedule your Senior portraits with InMotionPro. All seniors' photos must be submitted by October 31st and MUST be taken by InMotion. The session is free. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Trent in 1104
For everyone who is not a senior, you should have received photo order forms in your English classes this week - remember, picture day is Monday, September 19!
If you want to participate in Club Fair Day, please make sure to have all of your paperwork submitted to the Activities Office by tomorrow so ASB can approve your club! Forms are available in the Activities Office.
Seniors, we’ll be having an assembly to review some important information on Monday, September 19. You’ll find out about cap and gown ordering, and other important information - this year will fly by and we want to make sure you’re prepared!
