Good morning, Falcons! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Remember, today is picture day, so all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be going to the gym during your English classes to take your photos! Seniors, you won’t be taking photos, as yours are taken with our special senior photography studio.
We’ll be having an assembly for seniors today during 3rd period in the PAC to review cap and gown ordering info and other important details about the year. Go to your 3rd period class first to take attendance and then head over to the PAC.
CSF is accepting applications until September 23rd. They can find the application in the counseling secretary desk or the IHS website.
If you are interested in playing girls’ basketball this year, there will be a mandatory meeting in the gym this Thursday, September 22nd, during lunch. Grab your lunch and head to the gym ASAP to receive important info regarding pre-season conditioning/tryouts. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Davis in the Textbook room before or after school.
Falcons, it's time to show you know what the R in RISE stands for! There are still over 1000 students who do not have a 22-23 lunch application on file. These applications help provide many resources for our campus, and we need ALL IHS students' parents or guardians to complete the application before September 30. The application link is on our website and is quick and easy to complete. Let's show RESPONSIBILITY and get those applications in ASAP! If you have any questions, see Mr. Varela in the dean's office. The 1st period class with the most applications turned in will win donuts!!
The countdown to homecoming has begun! The sophomore class - otherwise known as the ADVENTURERS, invites you to set sail with us on an Ocean Adventure! Make sure to check out the IHS instagram for more info about dress-up days, class responsibilities, and the dance!
Tickets for the homecoming dance will be on sale starting today. You must submit a signed dance contract in order to purchase a ticket. The dance contracts are available in the Activities Office. Pre-sale tickets are $15 or $13 with an ASB sticker. The dance is Saturday, October 8 - here at IHS - from 6pm to 9pm. If you buy your ticket at the door, the price is $20. Remember, the finance office is open before school and during lunch (except for Mondays, when it’s open for an hour after school). Pre-sale tickets will only be available for purchase from today to October 4.
SENIORS: Please schedule your Senior portraits with InMotionPro. All seniors' photos must be submitted by October 31st and MUST be taken by InMotion. The session is free. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Trent in 1104
The sign-up form for Club Fair Day will be sent to all advisors today - make sure your club advisor fills out the form if you want to participate!
