Good morning, Falcons! Today’s a big day!  The blood drive will be running in the library - please wait for your call slip to come up for your appointment.  Also, if you see any football players today, wish them luck as they enter the second round of playoffs today in Tulare!  Buy tickets online and go support our Falcons!

If you ordered a Maroon Goons shirt or sweatshirt, please stop by Portable 2 to pick up your order.

Latina Leaders of Kern County invites high school Sophomore and Junior Latina students to apply for the 2022-2023 Youth Leadership Program. Applications are available at the Counseling Secretary's Desk and are due by November 15th.

Are you 16 or older? Would you like to do something for your country, serve your community, and learn more about the voting process? Start your application to be a poll worker for this June's election! It would be a great experience and look great on your college applications. See Ms. Whitehouse in the library to get more information.

Students interested in playing baseball need to see coach Shelton any time throughout the day in the PE office for information regarding the season.

If you are interested in trying out for Colorguard for the spring semester – there will be tryout clinics on Monday, Nov 14th and Wednesday, Nov 16th from 7:00-8:30 am. Tryouts will take place on Monday, November 28th from 5:00-8:00 pm.  You must attend the tryout clinics in order to try out for the spring semester. Please see Ms. Liz in the activities office if you have any questions.

Are you interested in joining the IHS Overwatch 2 Team?  Come visit Mr. Boos in room 1010 for more information.  We're taking players of all skill levels.

We’ll be distributing boxes to classrooms to collect canned and boxed food for our Thanksgiving drive!  Students, please bring in canned or boxed food that would be served for Thanksgiving - like mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, or stuffing.  All donations will be due by Wednesday, November 15.  The 2nd-period class with the most donations will win a donut party!

Seniors!  If you missed the earlier deadline for ordering customized senior shirts and hoodies, you have another chance!  All orders must be placed by November 17th, no exceptions. Pick up an order form from the Activities Office!

Want to show off your talent?  Start preparing your song, dance, comedy routine, or whatever talent you have, as auditions for Falcons Got Talent will take place after school on Monday, November 14!  The show will be on December 1!

Remember, no school tomorrow in honor of Veterans Day!  Enjoy your 3-day weekend!
