Good morning, Falcons! Hope everyone had a fabulous 3-day weekend!  Huge congratulations to our football team for advancing to the semifinals in playoffs!  They’ll face off against Fresno this Friday!  Plus, we’d love to give a special shoutout to Anthony Rico for being selected as the FFX Player of the Week!  Anthony Rico did his part in the Falcons’ quarterfinal upset of Mission Oak by rushing for 206 yards and scoring 3 touchdowns to earn the FFX Player of the Week award.  We’re so proud of you!

We’re also incredibly proud of our cross country team, which will be competing in the CIF Central Section championships on Thursday!

Want to show a friend how much you appreciate them?  Stop by the quad during lunch today, Tuesday, and Wednesday to purchase your “Gratitude Gram!”  They’re only $1, and they’ll receive a card and candy when we deliver them this Thursday and Friday!  Make sure to come prepared with the recipient’s 5th period class!

If you ordered a Maroon Goons shirt or sweatshirt, please stop by Portable 2 to pick up your order.

This week from 11/14-18, the Library Makerspace will have a collaborative art project, a puzzle, and Gratitude Posts. Wednesday is game day this week.

Don’t be alarmed if you see nuns wandering around campus today - they’re just preparing for the fall musical, Nunsense, which will open this Thursday night!  Shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.  Come watch the hilarious hijinks of these talented nuns!

Latina Leaders of Kern County invites high school Sophomore and Junior Latina students to apply for the 2022-2023 Youth Leadership Program. Applications are available at the Counseling Secretary's Desk and are due tomorrow.

Start your application to be a poll worker for this June's election! It would be a great experience and look great on your college applications. See Ms. Whitehouse in the library to get more information.

Students interested in playing baseball need to see coach Shelton any time throughout the day in the PE office for information regarding the season.
