Good morning, Falcons!

Formal tickets will be going on sale this coming Monday, December 12!  If you haven’t already completed a dance contract this year (for homecoming), you’ll need to pick one up from the Activities Office - they’ll be available starting tomorrow.  Ticket prices will be posted in the Activities Office and on the Finance Office window.  Remember, all debt must be cleared and all paperwork completed/signed in order to purchase a ticket. Cash or check ONLY.

Ticket sales for next week will run as follows:

  • Monday, 12/12 - Wednesday, 12/14

    • Tickets: $40 with ASB sticker/$50 without (This is the only week for the ASB sticker discount)

    • Before School/Lunch

    • Open 1 hour after school Monday ONLY

More ticket information is on the IHS website, Instagram, and posted at the Finance Office and Activities Office.

The finance office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, 12/15 and 12/16.  Please plan accordingly.  Remember, there will be no formal ticket sales on those days.

If you have worked an athletic event or in the student store and have Falcon cash that has not been picked up, please pick it up this Thursday or Friday.  Falcon cash will NOT be available for pick up next week, December 12th through the 16th.  Falcon cash can be used toward the purchase of your formal ticket, but must be picked up before next week.

If you’d like to bring a guest from another high school to formal, you’ll need to submit a form to our deans’ office - signed by administration from the guest’s school, along with parents/guardians of the IHS student and guest.  These are available in the Activities Office - only 50 guests will be admitted, so please get your paperwork done quickly!

If you’d like to apply for formal royalty, pick up an application in the Activities Office.  The formal court is made up of all grade levels, but you must have a 2.0 GPA from Quarter 1, and your application must be approved through the deans’ office. Applications must be submitted to the deans’ office no later than Tuesday, December 21.

Don’t forget - we have a spirit week next week!  Monday is PAJAMA DAY!  Wear your coziest pjs, slippers, and robes!

PRIDE Club is hosting their annual holiday party in the PAC today from 4-6! Check out the IHS.pride Instagram for more information!

SENIORS! Yearbook representatives will be in front of the deans’ office during lunch on Monday and Tuesday.  Please come and check your senior portraits. Make sure we received it and that your name is spelled correctly. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Trent in 1104.

Kern County is in need of blankets during this cold season.  Link Crew will be helping by donating gently used or new blankets to our community.  If you are able to help, please bring a gently used or new blanket to room P10 by Monday, December 12. Thank you for your support in our community.

Our next Food Sale Day is coming up in January!  Club advisors, please sign up using the Google Form sent to your email.  Signups are due TODAY, and all paperwork is due to the finance office by December 20!  Don’t miss out on a chance to raise some money and feed the school!

Have a great Friday, and a fabulous weekend, Falcons!!
