Good morning, Falcons! Don’t you wish we had pajama day every week? Today is Santa Hat day and the campus looks like we’re at a Santa Clause convention! Santas everywhere! Tomorrow, decide if you’re feeling naughty or nice and wear red or white! Thursday is Ugly Sweater day, so come out to the quad during lunch to participate in our contest! Friday we’ll wear our favorite holiday socks!
Formal tickets are on sale now! If you haven’t already completed a dance contract this year (for homecoming), you’ll need to pick one up from the Activities Office. Ticket prices will be posted in the Activities Office and on the Finance Office window. Remember, all debt must be cleared and all paperwork completed/signed in order to purchase a ticket. Cash or check ONLY.
Ticket sales for the remainder of this week will run as follows:
Tuesday, 12/13 - Wednesday, 12/14
Tickets: $40 with ASB sticker/$50 without (This is the only week for the ASB sticker discount)

More ticket information is on the IHS website, Instagram, and posted at the Finance Office and Activities Office.
The finance office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, 12/15 and 12/16. Please plan accordingly. Remember, there will be no formal ticket sales on those days.
If you’d like to bring a guest from another high school to formal, you’ll need to submit a form to our deans’ office - signed by administration from the guest’s school, along with parents/guardians of the IHS student and guest. These are available in the Activities Office - only 50 guests will be admitted, so please get your paperwork done quickly!
If you’d like to apply for formal royalty, pick up an application in the Activities Office. The formal court is made up of all grade levels, but you must have a 2.0 GPA from Quarter 1, and your application must be approved through the deans’ office. Applications must be submitted to the deans’ office no later than Tuesday, December 20.
Big congratulations to our wrestlers who placed first in their competitions this past weekend: on the J/V team, Noah Gonzalez won 1st place, and in Varsity, Nasir Wilcox took home the gold!
Thank you to everyone who has submitted their school climate survey. We need your feedback to help make our campus an amazing place. Gabriel Abed, Victoria Barajas, Tristan Cappalla, and Stephine Castro have all won a t-shirt for taking 5 minutes to complete the survey. Please visit Mrs. Villasenor in room 619 to tell her what size shirt you’d like! Fill out your survey by Friday for your chance to win in our next drawing!
The Theatre Department invites you to swing by Panda Express in the Gosford Village today, December 13th! Proceeds from your orders will benefit the IHS Theatre Department! Make sure to mention IHS and/or the Theatre Department when placing your order!
SENIORS! Yearbook representatives will be in front of the deans’ office during lunch today. Please come and check your senior portraits. Make sure we received it and that your name is spelled correctly. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Trent in 1104.
Can’t wait to see all the decorated doors this week! Remember, judging takes place on Friday during 3rd period, so make sure you’re finished in time!
