Good morning, Falcons!  Hope you all had a great weekend!

Big thanks to everyone who decorated their doors!  We have 3 top classes - in 3rd place is Mrs. Zaletel, room 604; in 2nd place is Mrs. Waybright (room 1013), and in first place, earning a donut party for 2nd period is……. Mrs. Malson in room 1001!

Great job collecting all your dimes (and sabotaging other classrooms) - we’re still counting everything and will hopefully know which class won (and lost!) in order to make an announcement tomorrow!  Remember, the class who earned the most positive points can choose between a pizza or donut party, and the class with the most negative points will also earn donuts!  Pizza or donuts sound like a great way to make finals a little less painful!

Speaking of finals, don’t forget - if you’re a freshman and would like some help studying for finals, please join us in the cafeteria today after school for Cocoa and Cram!  We’ll have people who can help you with your studying and we’ll also be handing out hot cocoa and treats!  The event will run until 5:00pm, and there will be a late bus.  Don’t miss out!

There will be no after school tutoring or tutoring bus during finals. The last day of tutoring for fall semester is tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20. Tutoring will resume after winter vacation on Tuesday, January 10th.

Formal ticket sales will resume today at the price of $55.  You can purchase your tickets before school and during lunch this week.  Also, the finance office will be open for 1 hour after school today, Wednesday, and Thursday.   More ticket information is on the IHS website, Instagram, and posted at the Finance Office and Activities Office.

If you’d like to apply for formal royalty, pick up an application in the Activities Office.  The formal court is made up of all grade levels, but you must have a 2.0 GPA from Quarter 1, and your application must be approved through the deans’ office. Applications must be submitted to the deans’ office no later than TOMORROW, Tuesday, December 20.

If you're feeling stressed or nervous about finals, stop by the library to pick up an encouraging note from the United Nations Club.

Softball tryouts start January 9th, and students must be cleared before they can try out. Information about physicals and SportsNet is available in the Athletics Office.

Have a great Monday, Falcons!
