Good morning, Falcons, and HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!!  Hope you’re all wearing green and that you’re ready to play games in the quad today at lunch - you might just win a pot of gold (or, more likely, some candy)!

Testing makeups continue today, so if you’re on the schedule for a makeup, make sure you head directly to the appropriate testing location.

Huge congratulations to our FFA program - we had several students earn roles at the state level!  Keep your fingers crossed for Emily Lizarraga, who has made the cut for the next round of interviews!  Special kudos to Gabriela Velasquez, Cheyenne Coronado, along with IHS alumni Samuel Lamb and Ashley Cardona!  We’re so proud of you!

This week, classes will be competing in our annual “March Madness” door decorating competition - big thanks to Mr. Boos for organizing this!  The winning classes will receive pizza or donuts!

Looking for some community service hours?  Want to help with a great organization?  Come out to help at the “Teaming Up Against Cancer” event on tomorrow, March 18, at Stramler Park.  They need volunteers from 7-9am to help with setup and from 4-6pm to help with cleanup.  If you’re interested, please contact [email protected] or 661-205-0303.  You can also get information from Mrs. Moreno, the counseling secretary.

Our fourth and last Food Sale Day is coming up the week we return from Spring Break - make sure your advisor signs up by today!

Seniors - we still have a few tickets for Grad Night available for purchase!  Get yours before they sell out!  Also, check out the guide for Spring Senior Activities posted on the IHS website and on the Class of 23 Instagram page!

Have a great day, Falcons!
