Good morning, Falcons!
Testing continues today - students, if you’re scheduled for today, head directly to your testing location!
Important reminder from the deans: Students are not allowed to sell anything at school not approved through the activities office. This includes candy, homemade food, toys, and any form of gambling. Students can be suspended for selling on campus and face fines. Students caught using fireworks, confetti eggs, and water guns face suspension from all activities, detention, and items will not be returned.
Huge shoutout to all the classes who participated in the March Madness door decorating contest - what a great turnout! Also, big kudos to Mr. Boos for organizing the entire thing! And now, with no further ado, we’ll announce the top 3!

And….the winner of tomorrow’s pizza party is….. Mrs. Sherrill’s 3rd period class! Congratulations!
We’ll still be awarding donuts to the class whose team goes the farthest in the tournament! Stay tuned!
Congratulations to our baseball and softball teams for their victories over BHS yesterday! Keep up the great work!
Next week is a SPIRIT WEEK! The freshman class is hosting a “Toy Story” spirit week, along with a Sadie Hawkins dance on Thursday, March 30! Check out the IHS website and Instagram page for more information on dress-up days and activities! Tickets to the dance are $5, and can be purchased at the finance office or at the door. The dance will be in the IHS cafeteria from 4:30 - 6:30pm. Hope to see you there!
Seniors - Friday, March 31st will be the last day the finance office will accept checks from the class of 2023. Please be prepared to pay with cash after spring break. This will include prom payments.
If you’re playing in the Powderpuff or Ironman games, practices are this week! Powderpuff will practice in the mornings, and Ironman will practice in the evenings. Tuesday, March 28 is the final showdown - 5:00pm in the gym for Ironman and 6:30pm at the stadium for Powderpuff!!
Now that our prom theme has been revealed (Met Gala), it’s time to start thinking about the royalty court! Juniors and seniors are eligible to run for King/Queen and Prince/Princess. Applications will be available in the Activities Office on Wednesday. Applications are due by April 21.
Prom tickets will go on sale the Tuesday we return from Spring Break! Check out the pricing schedule on the IHS website and IHS Falcons Instagram - remember, the finance office is open only before school and during lunch, except for one hour after school on Mondays.
Interested in helping make decisions for IHS? Want to be a leader on campus? Applications for the 2023-2024 ASB team will be available starting Monday, March 27! Applications and recommendations are due by April 19!
We have another blood drive coming up on April 25! Permission slips will be available in the Activities Office tomorrow. Make sure to sign up for an appointment using the QR code on the IHS website or Instagram!
Seniors - we still have a few tickets for Grad Night available for purchase! Get yours before they sell out! Also, check out the guide for Spring Senior Activities posted on the IHS website and on the Class of 23 Instagram page!
