Good morning, Falcons!   Hope everyone had a great weekend!

It’s officially Mental Health Awareness Month!  We would like to raise awareness by sharing mental health facts and affirmations all week!

Today’s facts are as follows:

  • 1 in 4 teenagers have been diagnosed with a mental health condition.

  • 64% of teens feel the world is more stressful now than when parents were teenagers.

With these growing rates, our District has implemented supportive services to manage student’s mental health symptoms on school campuses. Those services are provided on our campus via group and crisis supports.

You will have the opportunity to meet our Tier support team members today at lunch! The interventionist, Mr. Weaver, Substance Abuse Specialist, Mr. Piper and School Social Worker, Mrs. Barajas, will be in the quad introducing themselves and reviewing the groups and crisis supports on campus. Please stop by and say hi, and while you’re at it, grab some candy!

Congratulations to our eSports team for winning 2nd place out of 30 schools across the Central Valley at the Fresno eSports League Tournament on Saturday!

Juniors - if you’d like to apply to be a “Flower Girl” for graduation, please find applications in the Activities Office.  Flower girls act as the “honor guard” for the ceremony, and it’s a great opportunity to add to your resume!  The application deadline is Friday!

Seniors!  Jostens will be distributing graduation caps and gowns in front of the Activities Office this Wednesday at lunch!
