Good morning, Falcons!
The annual Kern High Visual Arts Showcase will feature some of our amazing Falcon artists! Go check out their work tomorrow evening at the Bakersfield Museum of Art!
Huge congratulations to our softball team for their resounding win against BCHS on Friday! Savannah Figueroa threw a shutout with 15 strikeouts and also hit a 3-run home run! We host the first playoff game here tomorrow, so come support your Falcon athletes! Baseball’s playoff game is in Fowler, so wish them good luck on their journey!
Also, if you see any of our Track and Field athletes, congratulate them for their incredible performance on Friday in San Luis Obisbo! The girls’ team won 2nd place overall, with Natalie Flores setting a school record for the 1600 as a freshman and Tiana Grady setting a school record for the 100 hurdles. The boys’ 4x100 set the school record, as well!
Tickets for the Senior Breakfast and Senior Activity Day are on sale - it’s only $10 for everything! Breakfast will be catered from the amazing Hodel’s, and there will be laser tag, an obstacle course, a photobooth, and more afterwards!
