Good morning, Falcons!
We had great representation at last night’s district-wide PEAAK Awards - major kudos to all of the finalists! And an extra-special congratulations to Laila Ranger, who took home the prize for Best Scholar Photographer! Way to go, Falcons!
If you see any of our baseball players, make sure to congratulate them on winning the first round of playoffs yesterday! They’ll face off against Dinuba tomorrow!
Huge congratulations to our softball team for advancing into the next round of playoffs! They’ll be up against Central High School today in the quarterfinals, so wish them good luck before they get on the road!
Congratulations to Gabriela Arroyo for winning 3rd place in the Mixed Media category at the Kern High Visual Arts Showcase on Tuesday! Major kudos to everyone whose art was featured!
If you’d like to see more of our amazing artists’ skills, check out the ongoing chalk art competition in front of the library!
We’re ordering new spirit gear, so come help us clean out our inventory of shirts and sweatshirts to make room for the new ones! We’ll be selling everything for the low, low price of $10 each, so come by the Activities Office during lunch or after school tomorrow!
All PE and sports lockers MUST be cleaned out by Friday, May 26!
If you are interested in playing girls’ basketball this summer and/or next year, there is a mandatory meeting with Coach Davis in the Library TODAY during lunch. Meeting starts at 12:15. BE ON TIME!!
All library books are due TODAY. If you don't turn them in by then, they will go on your debt screen as lost books! We will reopen 5/29 for you to check out summer books and the library will be open Mondays and Tuesdays during summer school: before, during, and after school.
Seniors attending Grad Night: Please make sure you’ve joined the Grad Night 2023 group on the Band app. The QR code is available in the Activities Office. This is a necessary method of communication leading up to and during the event.
Tickets for the Senior Breakfast and Senior Activity Day are on sale - it’s only $10 for everything! Breakfast will be catered from the amazing Hodel’s, and there will be laser tag, an obstacle course, a photobooth, and more afterwards! The last day to purchase tickets is TOMORROW!
