Good morning, Falcons!
Our homecoming dance is on Saturday, September 23! Come and “Dance the Night Away!” Tickets for the dance are on sale now - you MUST have a signed dance contract to purchase a ticket, so pick one up in the Activities Office. Pre-sale tickets are $15 or $13 with an ASB sticker. Tickets at the door will be $20. Remember, the finance office is only open after school on Mondays; on all other days, you must come before school or during lunch.
Today is the beginning of Suicide Awareness Week. Come out to the quad at lunch today to discover some of the resources our community has to offer. Tomorrow, we’ll watch a video explaining the signs and symptoms of depression, anxiety, and suicide. On Thursday, we’ll provide information regarding other support services, including addiction, conflict management, and more. Remember, we are here for you. Please reach out to any of our counseling and intervention staff for support. Also, please note that the Suicide Prevention Lifeline number is printed on the back of your ID card: 1-800-273-TALK.
Attention K-pop club members! We will be having our weekly meeting today after school in room 907. Bring your friends!
Do you love books and planning events? Come to the library during lunch on Thursday to re-start the Library Club. We will decide on meeting days, brainstorm some fun events to do in the library, and plan for a mini-Battle of the Books this year. See you in the library Thursday!
Today’s ASB meeting will be held during 6th period; please check in with your teachers prior to heading over to 1101!
Seniors! If your club advisor has nominated you for homecoming royalty, make sure to pick up an application in the Activities Office! Completed applications are due this Thursday!
Also, if you’re a senior who hasn’t yet scheduled your photo appointment with InMotionPro, you’ll be going with your Government or Econ classes to take your photo tomorrow in the gym lobby!
National Honor Society is having its first meeting of the year today in Mrs. Zaletel's classroom, room 604, at lunchtime. Come find out how you can become a member!
Astronomy Club will have their first meeting of the year tomorrow, September 13, in room 901 at lunch. Hope to see you there!
