Good morning, Falcons!
Huge congratulations to our Marching Band and Color Guard for their amazing performance this weekend, scoring the highest all-around in all of northern California! They currently rank 2nd in their division in the championship bracket! Way to go!
Also, big congratulations to our Advanced Theatre/Tech students, who performed in the annual Shakespeare Festival on Friday at Bakersfield College. Ally Dalhke, Sophia Bertram, Juniper Reed, and Ace Medieros all won awards for their work!
Come out to support our water polo team on their Senior Night tonight at the pool next door! They’ve had an amazing season and are looking forward to both honoring their senior athletes and facing off against Stockdale!
Congratulations to our volleyball team, who will face off against Mission Oak here on campus in the first rounds of playoffs! Come support our amazing Falcon athletes!
Seniors! Hoodies and t-shirts will be available for pickup this Thursday! Also, if you missed the first round of orders - don’t miss out on the last chance to order your gear! More information is on the Class of 24 Instagram and at the Finance Office.
Also, don’t forget - Jostens will be here on campus tomorrow during lunch to take orders for caps and gowns! Buy them now when they’re at the lowest price!
The first meeting of the new Horror Club will be held on Wednesday in room 601. Bring your friends, your lunch, and any horror related topics you'd like to discuss. Don't be scared, be there!
Do you like peanut butter? Do you like jelly? Do you need community service? Bubble Club needs help making 150 PB&J sandwiches for the Bakersfield Aids Project in room 1104 during lunch on Friday. See Mrs. Trent for details.
All girls who were in a fall sport and have a sports locker assigned need to see Mrs. Jacobson or Mrs. Wahley ASAP. Varsity athletes who are competing in post-season DO NOT need to at this time.
Do you want to learn sign language? Come and join the ASL club. Meetings are held every Monday during lunch in room 607. See Ms. O'Mullan for more information.
Don’t forget to come out to our annual Trunk or Treat event this Thursday! Have siblings? Bring them to get some excellent candy, have their faces painted, and enjoy some creative (spooky) designs! The event runs from 6pm - 8pm in the student parking lot and costs only $2! Children 2 and under are free!
Want to show off your talents at our annual Falcons Got Talent show this year? Auditions are Thursday, November 2, from 4 - 6pm in the PAC! Signups available tomorrow!
Hey Falcons, if you find yourself in need of tutoring, homework help, or just a place to study, don't forget there are teacher tutors in the cafeteria every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:15-5:15. There's even a bus to take you home after. Check the flyers around campus or see Ms. Jackson in room 601 for more details.
Attention AP students: You are now able to put down a deposit on your AP test at the finance office. The deadline to reserve a test for the price of $98 is Oct 27 (this Friday!). Don't wait!
